I was at CES all day today and saw quite a few things on my 6+ hour hike of the show floors. One of the weirdest things I came upon was the Blue Ray and HD-DVD pavilions. They happened to be right next to each other. I can only guess that with the WB announcement and rumors of Paramount and Universal going to Blue it kind of killed the buz at the HD-DVD pavilion. Blue Ray was swamped and HD-DVD was…. well, not. There were people there but all the reps I saw in the booth were pacing back and forth and had a “dead man walking” expression on their face. I can only assume they’re thinking of getting their resumes together.
